Imagine this.
A house in the middle of a normal day.
School bags lying around.
Half folded clothes on the bed.
Someone searching for something.
And somewhere in the house there is always one woman who quietly knows where everything is.
Not just the missing socks.
But the forgotten homework.
The misplaced charger.
The favourite food of a child.
And sometimes even the unspoken emotions of the people she loves.
Welcome to the quiet superpower called woman.
Yesterday the world celebrated Women Day.
Flowers were given.
Messages were shared.
Quotes about strong women filled social media.
But today I want to talk about a different kind of strength.
The quiet strength that built generations.
Our mothers.
Many women of the previous generation focused on home.
But let us not mistake that for an easy role.
Running a home means remembering everything, holding everyone together, and making life work even on the difficult days.
Without applause.
Without promotions.
Without appreciation posts.
Just quiet commitment.
Today the woman has stepped into every field.
She leads companies.
She runs schools.
She builds careers.
She raises children.
Sometimes all in the same day.
But somewhere along the way women started comparing themselves.
The working woman sometimes feels superior.
The homemaker sometimes feels inadequate.
Which is completely unnecessary.
Because both are powerful.
Just in different arenas.
Before we became ambitious women, successful women, independent women
We were daughters watching another woman quietly carry the world.
Our mothers.
They did not speak about empowerment.
They practiced resilience every single day.
They adjusted.
They sacrificed.
They protected.
They loved.
Not for applause.
Just because that is what their heart knew how to do.
And unknowingly
They raised daughters who now dare to dream bigger. They raised us!!!!
So here is a message to every woman reading this.
Whether you run a company or run a home
Whether you chase dreams or nurture dreams
Whether you lead teams or raise children
You are not less.
You are not behind.
You are not competing.
You are creating life.
And that is the most powerful role in the world.
So today do one simple thing.
Call the woman who raised you.
And say
Now I understand.
If this made you think of your mother
Type her name in the comments.
Share this with the woman who built you.
If it touched your heart, like, comment and share.
